Home Health Aide

Job Summary

Assisting clients with their daily activities. This would include cooking, cleaning, accompanying clients to their appointments, doing laundry, running errands, etc. Sunnyside Community Services offers free training to become a Certified Home Health Aide. The comprehensive three-week program will prepare you to make a real difference in the lives of the elderly or homebound. We are also looking to recruit Bilingual English/Spanish speaking candidates.

Job Requirements

A pre-screening drug test, physical exam and employment test are required.

Hours

Both full-time and part-time positions available. Days and hours vary.

HHA Certificate (if you are already certified) Current Physical Health Examination (including immunization, PPD test and Drug Screen, lab work) must be less than 6 months old Original Social Security Card Two reference letters (one personal and one professional) with phone number of the referent Two valid proofs of ID, including one with a current photograph (Valid license, passport, school or military ID) Proof of flu shot
