’Tis the season for unexpected new releases!
Not to be outdone by Harper Lee, Dr. Seuss is releasing a new book on July 28. (Yes, Theodore Geisel passed away in 1991; What Pet Should I Get was discovered in a box in 2013.)
But, to our surprise, we realized we didn’t need a new release to discover some new-to-us titles in the Seussian oeuvre! Geisel was incredibly prolific, and we have more than 200 items authored by Dr. Seuss in our catalog.
Here are eight of his lesser-known works. They may not have a place in the canon beside The Cat in the Hat or Green Eggs and Ham, but we think they’re pretty neat, Sam I Am.
Are there any Dr. Seuss titles you love that are off the beaten track? Let us know in the comments!
